Small Pond Bounty

Walks around a small pond near our home provide access to an abundance of wildlife. This week, a Great Blue Heron missed and then caught a fish, a Black-Crowned Night-Heron waited his turn and an Eastern Chipmunk found a cozy hideaway. Halsey is a small pond but so full of life.

  1. You know how lucky I feel to see these things. It’s a real blessing to be able to share my photos and even a greater blessing that people like you enjoy them. Thank you so very much, Tom

  2. As always, you have captured the personalities of God’s smallest creatures … love that little chipmunk’s face … and I really love the John Muir quote … thank you for sharing.
